The Power of Breath, Sound and Coaching: Different Ways to Support Yourself
Updated: Oct 7

Different support for different moments
There are times when we need to talk.
There are times when we need help making sense of what's happening.
And there are times when we've done enough thinking and simply need an opportunity to slow down.
That's one of the reasons I offer coaching, breathwork and sound healing at Satori Wellness.
They are different forms of support, and you don't have to choose all three.
What feels useful will depend on you, what you're experiencing and what you need right now.
Coaching: creating space to work things through
Coaching gives you a confidential space to talk openly about what's happening and explore what you want to do next.
For women experiencing workplace bullying or difficult workplace behaviour, that might mean making sense of what's been happening, rebuilding confidence, understanding boundaries or thinking through decisions about work.
For someone who has already left a difficult environment, the focus may be different.
You might want to rebuild trust in your judgement, prepare for a new role or work through the self-doubt that can remain after a prolonged period of workplace stress.
There is no fixed programme.
We start with where you are now.
Breathwork: creating a pause
Sometimes talking isn't what you need in that particular moment.
You may feel tense, unsettled or simply unable to switch off.
Breathwork uses conscious breathing techniques to help you slow down, focus your attention and reconnect with your body.
For some people, it can be a useful complement to coaching.
For others, breathwork is something they prefer to experience completely separately.
It isn't about breathing away the problem or pretending the external situation doesn't exist.
It's simply another tool that can support relaxation and create a little space when life feels particularly full.
Sound healing: time to stop
Sound healing offers something different again.
During a session, there is very little required of you.
You can lie down, listen to the sounds of the singing bowls and give yourself permission to stop doing for a while.
You don't need to talk.
You don't need to meditate.
You don't need to achieve a particular state.
Some people find the experience deeply relaxing. Others simply value having uninterrupted time away from the constant stimulation of everyday life.
There is no particular response you're supposed to have.
You don't have to choose one approach
Coaching, breathwork and sound healing don't have to compete with each other.
They also don't have to be combined.
You might come to Satori solely for workplace bullying and recovery coaching and never have a breathwork or sound healing session.
You might come purely for breathwork.
Or you may find that at different points, different forms of support feel useful.
That's why I don't believe in forcing everyone through the same process.
The focus is always on what you need
Whatever brings you to Satori, we start with where you are now.
For my coaching clients, particularly those affected by workplace bullying and difficult workplace experiences, the priority is creating a supportive space where you can make sense of what's happening, rebuild confidence and work out what comes next.
Breathwork and sound healing are there when they feel appropriate or simply when you want to experience them as standalone practices.
There is no pressure to do everything.
Your support should fit you, not the other way around.
Not sure where to start?
If you're unsure which kind of support would be most appropriate, you don't need to decide before contacting me.
A free 30 minute discovery call is a relaxed, no-pressure conversation where you can tell me a little about what's going on and we can explore what might be helpful.
There's no obligation and no hard sell. Just a conversation about where you are now and what you might need.
